Terms
Plain terms for a simple product: you send a token, we buy you a prepaid card with it.
What Fade is
Fade provides prepaid virtual cards. Fade is not a bank and does not hold customer deposits. Each card is prepaid with exactly the amount you load onto it.
Payments are final
On-chain payments cannot be reversed once confirmed. Quotes are locked for a limited window and expire if unpaid, because token prices move. If you underpay by more than a rounding margin, the order fails and is resolved by hand.
Fees
A flat $15 issuing fee per new card, plus a network fee of $1 and 4%. Top-ups carry only that network fee. Every figure is shown before you approve a transaction. There are no monthly or annual charges.
Acceptance and availability
Cards are virtual and work online wherever Visa or Mastercard is accepted. They are not for ATM withdrawals. Acceptance at any given merchant is decided by the merchant. A card may be declined for reasons outside our control.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your wallet secure, for the lawfulness of what you buy, and for any tax arising from disposing of a token to fund a card. Do not use Fade where doing so would break the law that applies to you.
Risk
Digital assets are volatile and you may lose value. Nothing on this site is investment, tax or legal advice.
